Robert and I are an Ulster/Scot couple, Robert is the Ulster and I am the Scot. We met at the Cairncastle Ulster/Scots Music festival - I was singing on stage and he was on the door! Two weddings later we were well and truely married and I was re-settled in Cairncastle. Robert was a farmer then, something I knew nothing about, and I was ready for retirement from a long nursing career. I’ve retired another two times since and Robert has taken up tour guiding at the Gobbins Cliff Walk. We both enjoy meeting people and from that decided to build the B&B onto our house so that we could share the beauty of this area with our guests. Robert is a keen hillwalker and enjoys working on genealogy requests received by our church, bringing us into contact with people from all over the world. I enjoy music, crafts and gardening.
